Networking!

I was just pondering to myself if I was to get a sellable item produced in bulk... where would I go to sell it? I know there are stalls and markets where I live but how do people do it LARGE-SCALE! Crafts Council of Ireland is a good start but I found this English website that seem to really have a good network, show casing artist's profiles and over 150 shops in the UK that sell handmade..... kinda makes me think about the future and how I'd go about things if I did have a product to sell!!
