Christy Keeney

Ceramic Sculpter originally from Donegal, returened back to Ireland recently. He says in his Biography on his website ( http://christykeeney.co.uk/ ) " I visited a retrospective exhibition of Picasso, at the Tate gallery, in the early 80s when I was at college, and many of my influences came from seeing that work. Especially a collection of small card-board cutout and folded, figurative sculptures. These simple two dimensional pieces opened a world of possibilities on how I would approach my own work. "

After a bit of research trying to find pictures online of these figurative card sculptures I only came accross the above, which was the 2d and 3d design development if you like of his famous stringed guitars.
