Week 1: Pot Vessel Object....... basically group Problem solving exercise... we went down the wrong route at the start researching history etc when the question was discuss these three words with regard to 2012 CERAMICS. But after a vast amount of learning we narrowed it down to a contemporary artist each and roughly what we thought the meaning of the project and question was.
Voice was a bit shaky but meh.... think I survived it!
My Contemporary Artist was VHILS... a bit out there but he did use clay as a medium for his portraits... just on derelict houses :/
Week 2: Basically researching what we want to focus our Narrative project on. Guidelines were a lyric, quote, whisper, joke... "anything that you can put into inverted commas". Mine has travelled quite a bit from the beginning.... Here's the break down of where I started and where I am now.....

Week 3: Visiting Artist Christy Keeney came to help us with our HEAD PROJECT......Yay we're building with clay!!! We had a intro and talk with him Monday morning, during which he showed us slides of his own work past and present, also had a little question and answer session. After break he gave us a demo of how he actually creates his slightly flat faced figure heads, using moulds and drawing on the clay like a canvas! Tuesday we began working on our own.... I'll post my inspiration for mine and all that jazz later! :)
